The Summit

In the Fall 2019, I had the amazing opportunity to participate in the Student Leadership Summit that was held on campus. There I was able to level up my leadership skills with workshops, listening to entertaining speakers, and meeting new people.

It definitely opened up my eyes as it showed me that Lamar cares about creating well-rounded students and encourages them to become student-leaders. Not only am I more interested in becoming a member of new organizations, I feel better prepared if I were to apply for an executive position.
