2018 Summer Reading Club

Activity: Summer Reading Club Meeting

Reflection: It was a good experience to participate in a book club for, "Refugee," with Professor Andrea Karlin. I had never been in a book club before so this was a new experience. It was exciting to meet other students who were interested in the topic of how traumatic events cause people to become refugees in search of a new life. I was able to collaborate with my peers and engage in conversation. I enjoyed the book as it was well-written and made me go through a roller-coaster of emotions.
